Do you see children and teens?
At this time, the practice is only accepting new adult patients, ages 18+. Please visit the mental health referrals page if you're looking for care for a child or teen.
Do you accept my insurance?
This is a private pay practice, meaning that the practice does not bill any health insurance company for services rendered. The practice can, however, provide you with a superbill, which is the document you need to seek reimbursement from the health insurance company for your out-of-network expenses. Not everyone is eligible for reimbursement for out-of-network expenses - this completely depends upon your specific health insurance plan. For questions regarding out-of-network reimbursement, please check with your health insurer by calling the number on your card.
What is the cost of services?
All new patients undergo a psychiatric evaluation. This is the case even if you have been diagnosed in the past or if you've had other evaluations. You can expect an initial 60-90 minute appointment, review of available records, collaboration with other members of your treatment team, additional appointment(s) if necessary to complete the evaluation, and treatment recommendations, including prescriptions if needed. The cost to you is $375, and you will not be charged extra for additional appointments related to the evaluation. Payment in full is due at the initial appointment.
Follow up appointments, also referred to as "medication management" appointments, are typically shorter, though each is scheduled for up to one hour so that there is time to address every need that comes up. You can expect a check-in regarding symptoms, medication(s), general health and well-being, and treatment recommendations. Each follow-up appointment is $135, with payment in full due at the time of the appointment.
Each patient has access to the provider via secure messaging within the patient portal between appointments. Sharing of updates is encouraged.
